Tupa Energy specialises in developing large-scale battery storage.
The UK government has set an ambitious target to cut carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. To meet this legal requirement there is a greater need for renewable energy, battery storage and the electrification of transportation.
It is anticipated that the UK will require 30GW of battery storage by 2030. This capacity will help facilitate renewable penetration, whilst also providing for the increase in demand from electric vehicles (EV).
