Tupa Energy specialises in developing utility-scale battery storage, solar generation and rapid EV charging infrastructure.
The UK government has set an ambitious target to cut carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. To meet this legal requirement there is a greater need for renewable energy, battery storage and the electrification of transportation.
It is anticipated that the UK will require a further 8-11GW of battery storage by 2030. This additional capacity will help facilitate renewable penetration, whilst also providing for the increase in demand from electric vehicles (EV).
