  A 30 year veteran of the Energy Sector and  engineer and business owner by background Phil began his corporate career within gas transmission for National Grid. Progressing through electricity transmission and generation, he has operated in a number of senior roles across a range of activities and technologies in both conventional and green energy and from corporate and environmental risk & compliance to project development and delivery. After founding a National Grid JV to deliver liquid waste to energy in 2006, he transitioned in 2009 to develop Interconnector Projects for National Grid and, as Project Director, developed IFA2 from concept through to Financial Investment Decision (FID) before setting up his own businesses in 2014.  Most recently Phil has fulfilled the role of the Project Director on behalf of the principle investors for a privately financed, c €1.6bn, HVDC infrastructure project. 

Scott is a 20 year career engineer and project manager specialising in energy development and construction project management, and multi discipline design. Scott’s career began with National Grid before setting up his own businesses. He has worked extensively with, and alongside offshore wind and large scale infrastructure EPC providers, as well as cable and equipment suppliers on the design, technical specification, tendering, execution and due diligence of MV and HV projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. 

Most recently Scott has operated as Head of Engineering driving the development to financial close of a large, complex, HVDC cable infrastructure project. Scott is instrumental in the value add of Tupa to ensure the quality of feasibility, appropriate risk management and enhanced project executability for Tupa projects. 

Andy has over 15 years’ experience in business development and has a background in economics and finance.  After working in the City as a Foreign Exchange Options Broker for BGC, Andy moved in to renewables and became part of the Graveson Energy Management (GEM) team that delivered a flagship waste to energy project in North Yorkshire. Andy secured strategic partners and financing for the build, raising over £14m in investment. Andy was part of the team that negotiated the exclusivity rights for Engie (formerly GDF Suez) to roll out the GEM technology across the UK and negotiated a number of power purchase agreements for renewable energy production. Andy subsequently joined the Richborough Energy Park team securing development partners and maximising the value of development rights for solar, wind and gas peaking. 

Chris is a chartered town planner and delivery entrepreneur with 30 years' experience in the property, business development and acquisition sector. Chris brings an innovative, solutions driven and team focussed can do approach to challenges presented . For the last decade he has project managed the professional consultant and advisors’ teams that have secured the consents and development rights driving the rebirth of the new green Richborough Energy Park. In recent years he has also founded/co-invested in a number of projects and start-up companies as well as raising significant sums of development finance. 

Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the energy sector, with a commercial, contract background for major corporates, with National Grid he was involved in business, project and product development through to construction readiness, marine and terrestrial planning and consents including Development Consent Orders, energy trading and settlement, electricity connection agreements and fuel supply agreements and related activities. After leaving National Grid to develop his own business in 2015 he has been developing projects to bring solar, wind and battery storage together in conjunction with private wire connection and clean conventional generation opportunities. 

Terry has more than 20 years experience as a fully qualified accountant, business owner and entrepreneur. Terry has worked closely in support of successful property portfolio developers and subsequently managed large and complex portfolios in accordance with the highest standards of financial discipline and planning. Terry has built up his own businesses over the last 20 years in accounting, estate and property management and his financial experience in development , operations and compliance underpins Tupa's objectives to transparently develop and present high quality opportunities.
